Why your financial advisor should listen like a therapist and talk like a personal trainer

  • BB&T Ballpark 998 Watkins St SW Winston-Salem, NC 27101 (map)

Ivey willingly operates at a high level of stress, non-stop. She is the wife to a surgical resident physician at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.   She is the mother to a (nearly) 2 year old boy and two large dogs.  She owns her own fitness and health coaching business.  She works alongside her father, uncle and team in their asset management and financial planning business.  She is currently writing a book and is about chest deep and ready to be done with it!  Among other things, she is deeply involved in the community through Wake Forest Center for Private Business and with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.

As she writes her book, Ivey is in a deep state of self-discovery and understanding.  She is uncovering that she is exactly where she needs to be and she has a lot to say.

Ivey is a CFP® professional and a health coach.   She may wear different clothes during each of these jobs, but that is the only difference.  The message is arguably the same and the work done accomplishes very similar goals.

One of Ivey’s key initiatives is to make financial planning more accessible and attractive for her generation. Her experience in marketing, networking, public speaking and previous work managing client relationships makes her highly qualified for her role.
